Is There Any Hope For Permanently Curing Genital Warts?
By: Anonymous
Often times, the first thing a person says to their doctor once they find out they have been infected with genital warts is, “will it ever go away?”.
Well, as many of us already know… There’s good news and bad news. To get it out of the way, I’ll start with the bad news:
The HPV virus (genital warts) is permanent and you will never be able to fully get rid of it.
That shouldn’t surprise many of you because this is common knowledge. But should you lose hope just because something is impossible by today’s standards? Definitely not. In fact, with the way pharmaceutical drugs are advancing, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t hope for a permanent cure sometime in this life time. It seems that we are so close to curing cancer… Why can’t doctors fix a little problem like genital warts?
We can debate all we want as to when it will happen but ultimately that’s up to the scientists and we have no control over the matter. Ready for the good news?
As you also might already know, there are dozens of effective treatments out there that are capable of preventing a genital wart outbreak.
Some of those treatments are extremely expensive and require a prescription (or worse; surgery). Others are small, inexpensive organic treatments. Depending on who you talk to, people will argue the efficacy of such treatments. I personally believe that some of the cheaper organic treatments do just as well of a job as the more expensive prescription-only type treatments. You really don’t know until you try some of them for yourself.
Fortunately, most of the organic treatments are very affordable and can range anywhere from $50-100 per month of treatment. While that may seem expensive, try comparing that to $500+ per month for a prescription treatment. I would try the cheaper treatment first. If it works, great! If not, talk to your doctor about a more expensive treatment.
So is there any hope for permanently curing genital warts? We’ll let you know as soon as there is.
